Ibrahimovic, 37, highest paid player in MLS history

LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is earning a Major League Soccer-record $7.2 million salary this season, USA Today reported. 

The previous records belonged to former Toronto striker Sebastian Giovinco - $ 7.1 million, and the former Orlando player, Kaka - 7.1 million.

During the current season, Ibrahimovic scored 11 goals in 12 appearances.
