Mourinho is simply mad – Cruyff

José Mourinho never understood, and will never understand, that FC Barcelona is more than just a club, former Dutch international and Barça’s technical manager Johan Cruyff announced.  

“He [Mourinho] had nothing to show for himself as a footballer, but now he can do something in the coaching career. The best philosophy is to foment players, not buy them. He never understood, and will never understand, that Barça is more than just a club. It’s a life, a struggle and a new philosophy,” the legendary Dutchman stated.

Johan Cruyff also joked about the fact that José Mourinho recently said he should be called “the only one” in reference to the fact that he is the only manager to have won the league in Italy, Spain, Portugal and England.“Yes, he is the only one, the only mad enough to say a thing like that. He’s so mad he’s in a straitjacket,” AS.com quotes Cruyff as saying.
