During the 2019 World Figure Skating Championships taking place in the Japanese city of Saitama, Armenia’s representative Slavik Hayrapetyan didn’t overcome the barrier in the qualification stage of men’s figure skating solo.
In the short program, the Armenian athlete was in 31st place (60.66 points) out of 35 participants. In the freestyle program, there will be 24 powerful figure skaters. The top three are US figure skaters Nathan Chen and Jason Brown and Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu.
During the women’s figure skating solo, Armenia’s representative Anastasia Galustyan also wasn’t among the 24 top participants and was in the next-to-last place in the short program (39th place with 47.75 points).
