Leicester star Kasper Schmeichel was held back by police as he ran towards the burning helicopter with owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha on board, talksport reported.
“I won't go into all the details but Kasper lived and saw some terrible things,” said Claude Puel, the Premier League club’s manager,
As reported earlier, Leicester City late owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was killed when his aircraft came down on Saturday evening.
The other victims were two of his staff, Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and Mr Swaffer's girlfriend Izabela Roza Lechowicz.
Because of the incident, the English League Cup match between Leicester City and Southampton, set to be held on October 30, was rescheduled.
As reported earlier, the helicopter crashed after the Leicester game against West Ham (1-1) near the King Power stadium.
