Novak Djokovic climbs to No. 2, Karen Khachanov and Margarita Gasparyan also go up in rankings

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) on Monday issued their new rankings.
Accordingly, Rafael Nadal still tops the ATP rankings. And after winning the Shanghai Masters on Sunday, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has leapfrogged Switzerland’s Roger Federer to second spot.
Russia’s Karen Khachanov has climbed to 26th place in the new ATP standings. The 22-year-old Muscovite Armenian is the No. 2-ranked tennis player of the country.
Romania’s Simona Halep continues to lead the WTA rankings. And Russian Armenian Margarita Gasparyan has risen thirteen spots and is now ranked 124th.
