FFA president: Armenia manager's resignation was a surprise

Newly elected president of Armenia's football federation Artur Vanetsyan commented on the resignation of Armenia manager Vardan Minasyan.

“Vardan Minasyan’s resignation was a surprise. We have to actively work on the appointment of a new manager. We have several candidates both from Armenia and abroad. I cannot name them now,” he said pledging not to interfere with the work of national squad.

Vanetsyan added that the price of cheapest tickets for Armenia international matches will be cut to 1,000 drams.

Artur Vanetsyan, who is the head of Armenia’s National Security Service, was elected the president of football federation earlier today.
