Emre Can on Ronaldo’s removal: We’re not woman

Emre Can commented on Cristiano Ronaldo’s red card against Valencia.

“That’s supposed to be a red!? I just heard that he said it was because of hair pulling. We’re not women, we’re playing football. If you’re giving that as a red card, you can be sent off for any foul. One hundred per cent, that is not a red card,” Goal.com reported quoting Can. 

Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to grab Valencia defender Jeison Murillo's hair as they tangled off the ball and referee Felix Brych consulted his assistant behind the goal before showing the five-time Champions League winner a straight red card.
