Sergio Ramos: Real Madrid must fill void remaining after Ronaldo’s departure

Real Madrid and Spain captain and defender Sergio Ramos spoke about the present-day situation at Real, after Portugal captain and star forward Cristiano Ronaldo parted ways with the club.

“Our club must fill the void that has remained after Ronaldo’s departure,” AS quoted Ramos as saying. “We wish him the best, since our teams haven’t met yet.

“Life goes on. Now, we have to adapt to another style and find new means to win. I’m confident that Real will be able to win the [UEFA] Champions League again.”

Cristiano Ronaldo, 33, signed a four-year deal with Juventus this summer.
