World's number one Rafael Nadal shared his expectations from the upcoming match in New York against 22-year-old Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov.
“He’s a great opponent. He’s a great player. Young, strong, I played against him in Toronto three weeks ago. It was a tough one. I’m excited to play that match and I hope it will be a good one. I need to play well to try to be through and that’s what I’m looking for,” ATP website reported quoting Nadal.
As reported earlier, in the first and second round of the US Open Russia's number one Khachanov defeated the Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas and the Italian Lorenzo Sonego in three sets.
