YEREVAN. – Armenia took the second place at the Journalists’ International Football Tournament, which was held in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan for the second consecutive year.
Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, and two teams from Armenia—the team of journalists and the journalists’ team from Gyumri competed in this event.
Belarus won the tournament.
NEWS.am Sport editor Davit Yeghaizaryan, who had scored eleven goals, was named the top scorer of this event.
After the tournament, all the teams attended a dinner party and exchanged gifts. And on the next day, they traveled to Lake Sevan.
