Iniesta’s last El Clásico is full of goals, heated battle

Even though the last El Clásico of this season was not important in terms of La Liga standings, it was quite spectacular—with beautiful goals, a red card, dubious refereeing decisions, and a heated battle.

FC Barcelona, who already have clinched this season’s La Liga title, hosted Real Madrid—who currently are in third place—in Week 36 of the top Spanish football league. The last El Clásico of Spain midfielder Andrés Iniesta—who has announced that he will be leaving Barcelona at the end of the current season—ended in a 2-2 tie.

Barça continue their record-breaking unbeaten run in La Liga, whereas Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid are still in second and third place, respectively.
