Gennady (Kazakhstan) has defended his professional boxing unified WBA (Super), WBC, and IBF middleweight titles.
In the bout that was held in Carson, California, USA, Golovkin, 35, entered the ring against American Armenian Vanes Martirosyan (USA), and achieved a win by KO in the second round. The Kazakh boxer will receive $1 million for this victory, whereas 31-year-old Martirosyan—$250 thousand.
