Juventus were hosted by Fiorentina in Friday night’s Italian Serie A football league clash, and the reigning champions beat their hosts by a score of 2-0.
Also, this match was 40-year-old Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon’s 500th league game in a Juventus jersey.
Buffon is only the second player to reach 500 league games for the club, with Alessandro Del Piero (513) the only other player to do so.
And with this game, Massimiliano Allegri took charge of his 200th fixture as the Juve’s manager across all competitions.
