Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian beat Indian chess player Sethuraman S.P. in the penultimate round of the Gibraltar Masters chess tournament. After this round he scored 7 points out of 9 possible and equated with the leading Frenchman Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Russian Daniil Dubov.
The last round will take place on February 1.
