Arsenal hope Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang transfers will convince Özil to stay

Arsenal are hopeful that Armenia midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s transfer from Manchester United and Gabon forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s expected move from Borussia Dortmund will convince Mesut Özil to stay at the London football club, according to EveningStandard.

The Germany midfielder has not yet extended his contract with the Gunners, and which ends in the summer.

Manchester United, whose Portuguese manager José Mourinho worked with Özil at Real Madrid, are interested in his services.

Arsenal’s French manager Arsène Wenger had said Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Özil could work well together in his game plans.
