Mourinho on Sánchez transfer: We need that extra competitive internal competition at attacking areas

Manchester United manager José Mourinho has explained why they need Arsenal’s Chilean forward Alexis Sánchez at the team.
“In this moment there is no competition for places,” Manchester Evening News quoted the Portuguese football specialist as saying. “In this moment we have four attacking players for three positions, three are starting, one is on the bench, [Swedish forward] Zlatan [Ibrahimović] for the whole season was not available.
“And we look to the attacking areas and we need that extra competitive internal competition but more solutions for us, so let’s see.”
The 29-year-old Chile striker has already undergone a medical at Manchester United.
His transfer is expected to be formally announced soon.
