Armenian national football team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan will receive a higher salary at Arsenal than he currently gets at Manchester United.
The 29-year-old midfielder is expected to receive a weekly wage of £200,000 at the London club, according to the
Mirror newspaper.
He currently gets £150,000 at United.
Mkhitaryan has arrived in London, where he will undergo a medical at Arsenal.
The Red Devils will swap him with Arsenal’s Chilean forward Alexis Sánchez, who has already undergone a medical at Manchester United.
