Former head coach of Uzbekistan Samvel Babayan was suspended from any football activity for life, the official website of the Football Federation of Uzbekistan reported.
According to federation, the 46-year-old Babayan illegally prolonged contracts of football players, correcting the contract year. At the same time, the football authorities of Uzbekistan accused the coach of not being able to cope with the work in the team.
He also prejudiced against the national team players putting "his" players to the first place, ignoring the physical form and discipline of the team, which negatively affected the level of the national team and caused the public outrage.
