Awarding ceremony of Armenia’s best athletes in 2017 (PHOTOS)

The awarding ceremony of Armenia’s best athletes in 2017 took place in Yerevan.

The ceremony is attended by President Serzh Sargsyan, president of the National Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan, Sport Minister Hrachya Rostomyan and athletes, except for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Levon Aronian.

The leader of Armenian chess is in Saudi Arabia where he is participating in world rapid chess championships. Mkhitaryan is preparing for the regular round of the Premier League set for December 31.
