Final shortlist for Caf Player of the Year award

The Confederation of African Football has revealed its shortlist for the Player of the Year award.  The list includes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon and B. Dortmund),  Mohamed Salah (Egypt and Liverpool) and Sadio Mane (Senegal and Liverpool).

The winner will be determined through the vote of experts and coaches of African national teams.

Leicester City's Algerian midfielder Riyad Mahrez has been awarded African footballer of the year in 2016.
