Barça president meets with Griezmann’s family

FC Barcelona (Spain) have begun the activities toward acquiring forward Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid (Spain).
In this connection, Barça President Josep Maria Bartomeu met with the family of the 26-year-old footballer of the French national squad, at a restaurant in Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo sports newspaper of Spain.
Griezmann’s sister deals with his professional football business affairs. The French international’s parents also attended this talk.
Barcelona plan to offer €100 million—the amount of Griezmann’s release clause—for his transfer in the summer of 2018.
His current contract with Atlético Madrid runs until Summer 2022.
