A.C. Milan (Italy) fans have showed their anger towards the club and Italian national football squad goalkeeper Gianluigi “Gigio” Donnarumma, during the warm-up before Milan’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 match against Hellas Verona F.C.
Before Wednesday’s game in Milan, the local club fans booed when the stadium announcer said the surname of the 18-year-old netkeeper.
Also, the Milan supporters held a banner that read: “Psychological violence by giving you €6 million a season & signing your parasite brother? It’s time to leave...our patience with you is over!”
In summer, the Italian international had refused to extend his contract with Milan, and as a result, he had strained relations with the club management and fans.
Subsequently, however, he extended the contract until 2021.
But prior to this deal, Gigio Donnarumma had posited a condition that Milan must sign a contract also with his brother, Antonio.
