Mesut Özil stands ready to join Barça in winter

Arsenal’s (London, England) German midfielder Mesut Özil stands ready to move to FC Barcelona (Spain) in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The Catalan football club maintains contact with the agents of the 29-year-old German international, and it knows of his readiness to join Barça, wrote Mundo Deportivo.
Özil has not been negotiating with other clubs so far.
But there were rumors in the British press that Manchester United FC (England) manager José Mourinho, who worked with the German player at FC Real Madrid (Spain), also is interested in his services.
Mesut Özil’s current contract with Arsenal runs until the end of this season.
