Russia Olympic Committee decides its athletes should take part in 2018 Winter Games

The Russian Olympic Committee on Tuesday convened a meeting in Moscow.
The discussants conferred on whether athletes representing Russia should compete in the 2018 Olympic Winter Games to be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
And it was unanimously decided that Russian athletes should participate in these winter Olympics.
It was noted, however, that the athletes themselves shall decide whether or not to compete in South Korea, according to TASS Russian News Agency.
As reported earlier, the International Olympic Committee has barred Russia’s national Olympic team from the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, and due to a systematic doping scheme.
