FIDE Grand Prix: Aronian leads with 5 points

Armenia’s Levon Aronian ended his game in a draw against Evgeny Tomashevsky (Russia) the eight round of the FIDE Grand Prix held in Majorca.

Aronian is leading the standings with 5 points. During the previous rounds, he defeated Anish Giri (The Netherlands) and Ernesto Inarkiev (Russia). The two other games against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Dmitry Yakovenko (Russia) and Dean Liren (China) ended in a draw.
