Mkhitaryan on 50-footballer shortlist for UEFA 2017 Team of the Year

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has publicized the 50-player shortlist for its 2017 Team of the Year.
Manchester United midfielder and Armenia national squad captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also on this list, together with three other Man United teammates, according to the website of this English club.
“Mkhitaryan has been particularly effective [for the Red Devils] in Europe since arriving from [Germany’s] Borussia Dortmund,” wrote the website.
In the previous Europa League season, the Armenia international scored 6 goals in 11 appearances for Manchester United. In addition, he had an eye-catching performance also in the Europa League final, when Manchester United beat AFC Ajax (the Netherlands) by a score of 2-0.
