Sixth-round matches will be played Friday at the European Team Chess Championship in Hersonissos, Crete, Greece.
Armenia’s men will face Azerbaijan. In the past five rounds, they achieved three wins and have two draws, and share 2nd to 5th places, with 8 points.
The women will compete against Hungary. In the previous five rounds, Armenia’s women won three matches but lost two others, and they share 8th to 14th spots, with 6 points.
Friday’s games will kickoff at 5pm Armenia time.
