Last season’s champions FC Alashkert (Yerevan) played host to runners-up FC Gandzasar Kapan (Kapan) in Sunday’s Armenian Premier League football match, but they lost to the guests by a score of 0-3.
Despite this defeat, Alashkert still top the current standings in the league.
Earlier, the FC Shirak (Gyumri) vs. FC Pyunik (Yerevan) and the FC Banants (Yerevan) vs. FC Ararat Yerevan games had ended in goalless draws.
