Deulofeu: I didn’t notice that ball had come out of pitch during goal

FC Barcelona (Barça) forward Gerard Deulofeu commented on the goal he scored during the Catalan football giants’ Spanish La Liga match against Málaga CF on Saturday.

Even though the ball had passed the pitch line during the attack leading up to this goal, the referees had not noticed this.

“I didn’t see that the ball had come out of the pitch,” SPORT quoted Deulofeu as saying. “I believe the goal was scored within the rules of the game; that’s why I didn’t stop during the attack.”
Barça had defeated Málaga by a score of 2-0.
