The “battle of the stares” between the reigning WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO female welterweight boxing champion, Cecilia Brækhus (Norway), and the challenger, Mikaela Laurén (Sweden), had an unexpected end.
At the end of the ceremony, Laurén suddenly kissed her opponent on the lips.
At first, Brækhus was surprised by this move, but then she laughed.
