World Chess Cup finals: Aronian and Liren start with a draw

Armenian chess leader Levon Aronian and China's Grandmaster Ding Liren started with a draw the finals of the 2017 FIDE World Chess Cup being held in Tbilisi.

The next classic chess game is set for September 24. If it ends in a draw, the players will play a tiebreak on September 27.

Both finalists have qualified to the 2018 Candidates' Tournament.
