Reining UEFA Champions League cup winners and Spanish La Liga champions FC Real Madrid have won the UEFA Super Cup for the second consecutive year.
In the Super Cup final that was played Tuesday in the Macedonian capital city of Skopje, Real defeated reining UEFA Europa League cup winners Manchester United (England) by a score of 2-1.
Armenian national football squad captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan started for United, and he played the entire match.
Real Madrid’s Portuguese star forward Cristiano Ronaldo entered the pitch in the 83rd minute.
