The games of the third round of Sinquefield Cup (3r round of Grand Chess Tour) are underway in Saint Louis.
Leader of Armenian chess Levon Aronian played with black pieces against Russian Sergey Karjakin. On the 23rd move the players agreed to a draw, both of them collecting 1.5 points.
The other games of the tour are underway.
In the first two rounds, Levon Aronian beat Russian Jan Nepomnyashchy and lost to US representative Fabiano Caruana.
