The Armenian National Basketball Team started with a victory in the world championship qualifier.
In the first game of the 2019 World Championship qualifier, the Armenian basketball team under the leadership of Croatian specialist Nikša Bavčević faced Slovakian team in Mika Sports Complex of Yerevan. The Armenian team beat the guests 75-61.
In another game of Group A, the Swedish squad beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 81-73.
Within the framework of the next qualifier, Armenia will face the Swedish team on August 5.
