FIDE Grand Prix: Levon Aronian beats Dmitry Jakovenko

In the second round of FIDE Grand Prix tournament held in Geneva, leader of Armenian chess Levon Aronian defeated with black pieces Russian Dmitry Jakovenko, garnering 1.5 points.

Azerbaijani leader Teimour Radjabov, who won in two games, tops the standings.

In the first round, Aronian played a draw with white pieces against Chinese Li Chao. 18 chess players take part in the tournament consisting of nine rounds.
