Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland), who is currently ranked world No. 3, suffered an unexpected defeat against Daniil Medvedev (Russia), in the opening round of Wimbledon 2017.
Medvedev pulled off the upset on Monday, knocking out the three-time Grand Slam tournament champion in four sets to earn his first Grand Slam victory.
The 21-year-old Russian is No. 49 in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Rankings.
