Real Madrid will extend the contract with team captain Sergio Ramos for a year, Marca reported quoting the president of the Royal club, Florentino Perez.
According to Perez, the new contract of the Spanish defender is expected to run until 2021.
In 2005, the 31-year-old football player was transferred from Sevilla into Real for a whopping 27 million euros.
As a part of the Royal Club, Ramos boasts an impressive 522 games and 68 goals.
