FC Alashkert manager: Everything should be done to advance to 2nd round

Manager of Yerevan’s FC Alashkert Abraham Khashmanyan has commented on the results of the draw of the first qualifying round of Europa League.

“Unlike other teams, we know this rival. We know the capacities of Santa Coloma. Anyway, we should do our best to advance to the second round. I think it’s good that the first match is held in Yerevan.

We will start thinking about BATE only after the match against Santa Coloma. But now we are entirely focused on the match against the Andorran squad,” he said, the press-service of FC Alashkert reports.

In the first qualifying round, Alashkert will face Andorran champion Santa Coloma. In case of advancing to the second round, the Yerevan club will play against BATE.
