Mkhitaryan, Aronian attend Aurora Prize Ceremony in Yerevan (PHOTOS)

Armenian national football squad captain and Manchester United (England) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian, who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions Armenia, also attended Sunday’s 2017 Aurora Prize Ceremony in capital city Yerevan.

Also, Mkhitaryan congratulated Dr. Tom Catena for becoming this year’s Aurora Prize laureate.

“Humbled to attend the Aurora Prize ceremony here in Yerevan. Congratulations to the 2017 Laureate Dr. Tom Catena who has saved thousands of lives in Africa Sudan,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

And Aronian posted his photo at the event, and which was taken with renowned Armenian writer and publicist Zori Balayan.

“Honored to celebrate the goodness of humanity with real heroes all around me,” he commented on his Facebook page.
