Mkhitaryan: As a child I could only dream of one day making it to a big European final

Armenia national football squad captain and Manchester United (a.k.a. Red Devils; England) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has thanked the fans, in connection with the Red Devils’ advancing to the final of Europa League.

“As a child I could only dream of one day making it to a big European final. Thanks to everybody who supported us last night at Old Trafford!” Mkhitaryan wrote on his Twitter account.

Also, he posted a photo from his childhood years, and which was taken at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

As reported earlier, Manchester United will lock horns with AFC Ajax (the Netherlands) in the Europa League final on May 24, in the Swedish capital city of Stockholm.

The winner of Europa League qualifies for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
