Manchester United (a.k.a. Red Devils) have advanced to the UEFA Europa League semifinals.
The English football club defeated R.S.C. Anderlecht (Belgium) 2-1 in extra time during Thursday’s Game 2 of their quarterfinal clash at home.
And just like in Game 1 that was played in Belgium, Armenian national squad captain and Red Devils’ midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan opened the scoring—in the 10th minute of the game, by netting his fifth Europa League goal this season.
The UEFA Europa League semifinal draw will take place on Friday.
