YEREVAN. – On April 16 and 17, the national taekwondo team of Armenia competed in the prestigious G1 ranking Fajr Cup that was held in Sari, Iran.
At the event, Armenia’s Arsen Grigoryan (87kg) won a gold medal while Sergey Vardazaryan (68kg) became a bronze medalist in their respective weight classes, informed the Taekwondo Federation of Armenia.
A total of 26 teams from 19 countries participated in this tournament.
At the end, Armenia ranked fourth in team, but third in country standings.
