The weightlifter Aghasi Aghasyan announced, that he ends his career. Aghasyan took the second place at the Armenian Men’s Weightlifting Championship in 94 kg weight category. The first place went to Karush Ghukasyan (350 kg).
He could not take part in 85 kg category competition, because he was heavier for 400 grams. After he last attempt he took off his sneakers and left. He didn’t participate in the ceremony of awards.
"I'm leaving with my head held high. I do not care about those people who cost less than my sneakers," wrote Aghasi Aghasyan on his Facebook page.
