The Football Association (FA) is looking at introducing retrospective bans to English football for players who dive or feign injury, BBC reported.
Unlike in Scotland, where players are handed a two-match suspension if they are found to have given their team an advantage by simulation, players in England cannot be punished after a game has finished.
In England, players are currently only given retrospective bans for incidents of violent conduct.
