In this match that was played in Manchester, the Red Devils defeated the guests owing the game’s only goal scored by the captain of the Armenia national football squad; this was his first goal at Old Trafford, the Man United home stadium.
Toward the dying minutes of the second half, however, Mkhitaryan suffered an ankle injury and was stretchered off the pitch.
