During the press-conference held in Yerevan’s Republican Stadium Friday, defender of the Romanian squad, Dragoș Grigore, shared his expectations from the upcoming match against the Armenian squad.
“I don’t consider us favorites: the Armenian squad is a complex rival. We are disposed to victory. Currently there are no simple rivals, and it takes a lot of efforts to earn points. I don’t remember the match between Armenia and Romania, which took place 12 years ago, since I didn’t take part in it. I don’t have much information on the Armenian squad, but we will do our best to carry out the instructions of our coach and collect 3 points,” the 30-year-old footballer said.
The World Cup 2018 qualifier Armenia vs. Romania will take place on October 8 in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
