Reining England champions Leicester City F.C. and Denmark national football squad goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel’s surgery was a success.
The Denmark international said he is now thinking about playing in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier opener against Armenia.
“Operation went well. Recovery starts now! I’ll do everything in my power to be fit for our game vs Armenia on Sunday,” Schmeichel tweeted, and he posted a respective photo.
The Denmark-Armenia clash is slated for Sunday, in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen.
