Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) and Arsenal F.C. (England) continue to negotiate on the transfer of Armenia national football squad captain and Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
“Talks ongoing for Henri Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal. [Arsenal manager Arsène] Wenger has offered 30 € milion for him,” tweeted Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira of Italy.
As reported earlier, the 27-year-old Armenia international does not wish to extend his working contract with the German club, and which runs until the summer of 2017, and BVB have agreed to let him go.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored 11 goals and had 18 assists in 31 appearances in the German Bundesliga competition last season for Dortmund.
Chelsea F.C., Tottenham Hotspur (England), and Juventus (Italy) likewise are interested in his services.
