Norway Chess 2016: Aronian vs. Grandelius

The second round will be played Wednesday at Norway Chess 2016 super tournament, which is underway in the Norwegian city of Stavanger.

In this round, Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian, who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions Armenia, will face GM Nils Grandelius (Sweden).

All matches will get underway at 4pm, Armenia standard time.

In Round 1, Aronian played a draw with GM Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), whereas Grandelius lost to former World Champion, GM Vladimir Kramnik (Russia).
