FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod defeated FC Sibir Novosibirsk 2-1 in their away match in Week 25 of the Russian National Football League, which is the second level of Russian professional football.
Armenia national squad forward Arthur Sarkisov scored the guests’ second goal in the 56th minute.
Sarkisov was in the Volga starting eleven, and he was subbed off in extra time.
The Russian club’s Armenian midfielder Artur Minosyan also was in the starting lineup, but he left the pitch in the 32nd minute.
